As Managing Partner and co-founder of Advisant Financial, Tom specializes in strategic tax planning, financial advisory, IRS representation, and tax liability forecasting for his clients.<\/p>\n
Tom is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and began his career in finance. He also gained a footing in the film industry through the management of accounting and film tax credits for a number of productions, prior to ultimately shifting his focus to assisting business owners and individuals.<\/p>\n
When away from the office, Tom spends his downtime with his family and caring for a household affectionately known as the \u201czoo\u201d, where until recently the number of animals outweighed the number of people living under the same roof. He is also active in his community and has previously volunteered his time to help taxpayers file through the IRS certified VITA program (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance).<\/p>\n
